17:29 scooter: yellow dog is just setup so entry is the 4 option part for me
- it is amg's extreme rsi
17:30 Kongfuzi: right you mean the band pokes. I've not incorporated that part
yet, but working on it
17:31 scooter: band poke AND yellow box is the yellow dog, they need to be
happening at the same time
17:32 scooter: entry for me is either voodoo price level, fp-rising/falling
bline on 2400v, break of 2 bars hh or ll, or if rotational market then take
the band poke entry
17:31 Kongfuzi: right, but earlier today you took one whit yellow and then
poke after yellow disappeared, right?
17:32 scooter: that is 'yellow dog divergence' not straight yellow dog
17:32 Kongfuzi: so band poke is alternative to other?
17:33 scooter: yellow dog divergence is yellow box and band poke followed
by higher high without yellow box but a band poke
17:34 scooter: so a divergence at a higher high, it is a yellow dog divergence
for me because price has poked the orange band,
17:34 scooter: with the divergence, otherwise just a regular divergence trade
17:34 scooter: without the band poke
17:34 scooter: got it?
17:35 Kongfuzi: getting there
17:35 scooter: you get the divergence on the rsi no box means lower rsi and
price is higher
17:35 scooter: so divergence from the previous yellow dog -- so hence the name
yellow dog divergence
17:36 Kongfuzi: got it - vs straight yellow dog
17:36 scooter: those dog divergence trades I am more agressive on the entry
17:36 Kongfuzi: both happening same time
17:37 scooter: not same time , one after the other
17:38 Kongfuzi: yellow and then poke ok
17:38 scooter: yep
17:39 scooter: the other thing to remember is on a day like today , when the
market profile said trend day, yellow dog trades against the trend are strictly
tmar
17:39 scooter: or you be a dead yellow dog lol
17:40 Kongfuzi: yes runned over pooch
17:40 scooter: yup - so that is how I trade it
17:40 Kongfuzi: thx
17:41 scooter: yw
11:45 scooter: both yellow dog first one then a yellow dog divergence trade
after that
TMAR in a strong trend:

Examples of entry methods I use, (rotational market example not shown)
Price Action Entry: lowest low of last 2 bars for short or Highest High for
long of last 2 bars broken.

2400V lowest time frame entry using first pullback-rising/falling b-line.

Example of Dynamic Target Level.

This is not the holy grail. I use it as a heads up for a possible change
of trend, not a stand alone trading system. The day type is significant as
to how much of a stop I would give to any trade. Trend days have very small
stops because the risk of going against the trend is great and many times
not worth it. Using the Market Profile can give hints to a trend day or a
rotational trading day. Yellow Dog works better for me in rotational markets
since rotational days have back and forth trading action.
