How to Create a Tab

The AlanBox ESPL uses Gann Square Tab14. The following creates a Tab14 that will draw properly in the ESPL.

On a blank chart, Select the Gann Square tool and draw it, no need to make it look right or anchor for setting the tab.

• If you already have a Tab setup as you like your box to look, Select it
• Click on Copy Tab
• Click on Tab14
• Click on Copy Tab
• Now modify the selections (angles, tick boxes, line styles, colors)
• Click Close

That's it. This procedure can be used for *any* Ensign study, drawing tool, Alert, DYO, etc etc. Cool, isn't it?

Settings

These are sample settings. Change the color, thicknesses, Left or Right to suit your charts.
