16:48 @Ensign_Kimball: Next Feature....
16:48 @Ensign_Kimball: A new 'Maintenance' screen has been added to the program.
16:48 @Ensign_Kimball: Select 'Setup | Charts' from the Ensign menu to view this screen.

16:48 @Ensign_Kimball: This screen will be used primarily by Ensign Software Support. This screen will help the Support staff to help customers delete Quote files, chart files, etc. Deleting some of these files is often helpful if some data has become corrupted.
16:52 @Ensign_Kimball: 1) Erase all quote tables in memory.
16:52 @Ensign_Kimball: The quote tables in memory hold the symbols and prices for your active symbols. These might need to be erased, when a customer is switching to a new data-feed vendor.
16:53 @Ensign_Kimball: To erase the quote table, place a check mark in the checkbox, then click the 'Perform selected tasks' button
16:54 @Ensign_Kimball: 2) Delete quote files in \Ensign folder.
16:54 @Ensign_Kimball: Folders in the \Ensign folder have a file extension of .QUO. This feature will delete these files.
16:55 @Ensign_Kimball: 3) Delete tick pool files.
16:55 @Ensign_Kimball: In-coming ticks from the data-feed are stored in the \AllTicks folder. If this data becomes corrupted it can be deleted with this feature.
16:56 @Ensign_Kimball: If the computer power is cut, or the program shuts-down without saving, then the Tick Pool files will be out of synch. The actual chart files are not erased.
16:58 @Ensign_Kimball: 4) Delete archive file in \AllDays folder
16:58 @Ensign_Kimball: This feature will delete some archive data for daily charts. In the past, this data could be used to extrapolate a daily chart. This data is not so important anymore, since daily charts can be Refreshed. The actual daily chart files are not deleted.
16:59 @Ensign_Kimball: 5) Delete News folder
16:59 @Ensign_Kimball: This feature allows you to delete all the News folders and files.
17:00 @Ensign_Kimball: 6) Delete 1 date from all Daily Chart files
17:01 @Ensign_Kimball: This allows you to delete a specific BAR from all Daily charts. Example, if any of your Daily charts have a bar (on a weekend, or a holiday), then use this feature to purge that DATE from all Daily charts.
17:02 @Ensign_Kimball: Items 7, 8, 9, and 10 are used to clean out old chart files that you no longer use or look at.
17:02 @Ensign_Kimball: This is particularly helpful for Futures that have expired. It deletes Tick, Range, Volume, and Minute chart files and allows you to purge old files that may be cluttering your hard drive that you no longer use.
