Users will be identified by screen names or nicknames only, never real names.
To be put on the map, you must provide me with a city, state (and country
for non-U.S. users). I will locate your map marker at random in that city,
or if you request it, I will locate your map marker at random near but outside that
city.
Since I (and therefore the map) will not have your street address, no
one can use the map to drive up to your house unannounced. Since Google Maps
is only as good as its data (G.I.G.O.), this is an example of precision without
accuracy.
How to Get on the Map
I will transfer existing users from the old maps (U.S. map first) on a
time-available basis.

To request placement on the map, email the following information to map
at dacharts dot org
Your
eChat nickname
Your City, State (and Country if not in U.S.)
Any short comment you would like on your marker (subject to editing or removal
by the map maker)
